We explored the Scovill Zoo and had fun at the Children's Museum of Illinois. The place is near great shopping at Hickory Point Mall, and a golf course treats golfers nicely too. Clean rooms and helpful staff.
One room's fridge was super loud, making it hard to sleep.

Gorgeous low budget hotel for 3 nights in Decatur. The room was brand-new and the location was peaceful and comfy. Large fully equipped bathroom. Location so close to all restaurants and Hickory Point Mall. For shots visit Applebee's, nestled within 20 minutes' walk of the property.

The complimentary evening meal was enjoyable.
Unfortunately, my room was not cleaned as requested, quite disappointing. I also found the bathroom facilities to be very unsatisfactory. The shower had a yellow tint and was overall unclean. There was only one washcloth provided in a room for two, and the phone didn't work. I regret that my stay was marked by these issues as I expected better.
